I hurried home and read the book from cover to cover in one evening! I was rather dissapointed however to discover that this 'new' and 'exciting' technology was far from new and definately not exciting. Really a group or technologies that has been around, and used since the late 90's, that has just been made popular recently, in web applications by the likes of <a href='http://maps.google.com/' rel="nofollow">Google</a> and <a href='http://news.yahoo.com/' rel="nofollow">Yahoo</a> I spent the first half of last week waiting with great anticipation for a book on this new and exciting technology, entitled ‘Professional AJAX’.
